Welcome to March Madness.  How does your bracket look?  Speaking about bracketeering, welcome back to Pick Up Labs.  Where we bring you bigger plays than the tournament.  This week, we have another big play by one of your best players from the Stylelife Academy: PRODIGY.

I could sit here and type up a huge story about this routine, and how it is an awesome game (much like the Cube or Strawberry Fields).  I could tell you that it is very short and very easy to remember.  BUT, I would rather you guys told me what you think.  The last routine was put together really well, but didn’t get much feedback.  I want to hear what you guys think.

Ok, so it looks like we are going to run this one for 1 more week and see where it goes from there.  I have gotten emails back from Stylelife members about how good it is and also guys that have had issues with it.  I gotta ask, how is your frame while delivering this?

This is more of a game for when you are in set and have comfort built…. with the entire set.  I remember when I first started, I met a guy that had never gone out sarging.  I asked him why he was getting into the community.  While he answered, we were walking down the street and while he was mid-sentence, we ran right into a bachelorette party.  I opened, held a strong frame, and pulled the whole set to a near by bar that I knew was amazing.  We ended up doing a routine like this with the whole set.  It was amazing.  We went from meeting the girls to pulling them to a vodka bar, to getting them to do fun and interesting things.

Now, I challenge you guys.  Can you do this?  I want the Truth and the Dares….  Hell, make up a few of your own and post your results….  One more week.

Welcome back to yet another great mission on Pick Up Labs.  This was something that was found in the catacombs of the Stylelife Academy posts from an incredible social artist; Evolve.  For everyone that doesn’t know, Evolve has quite the stats when it comes to game.  Ask him about his 007 field report or any of his for that matter.  Anyway, a student brought this up a while ago and it then became a phenom.  It was so crazy, we had to keep it on lock down for a while.  Now, I am bringing it into the light.

Welcome back to the results breakdown of the Cologne Opener.  The Stylelife Moderator, Prodigy, did an incredible breakdown of this classic routine.  As seen in the book The Game, we decided to pull this one out of the closet and test it out just in time for the Valentine’s Day holiday.  After all, no girl wants to be with a guy that smells like butt.

With just a few alterations, this routine has been tested by various Stylelife Academy students, Stylelife Coaches, and of course Style himself.  But, the question is, how did it fare with you?

Now, onto the results of the Cologne Opener:

1. Does it work successfully?

As per test results, all testers agree this routine opens successfully. 5/5 for Successful.
2. How difficult is this routine to master?

According to testers results, everyone agreed that the routine was very easy.  5/5 for being Easy.
3. Did you get called out on using this routine?

None of the testers were called out while using this routine.  5/5 for not getting called out.
4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?

All testers stated the hook point strength was pretty strong.  4/5 for Hook Point Strength.
5. Rapport building strength?

Testers stated this routine had an above average rapport building strength.  3/5 for Rapport Building Strength.
6. Your PUA-AFC level?

All testers were between AFC and PUA.
7. Number of times tested?

Tested 41 times.
8. Any additional insight?

As I wrote smelling your wrist first will make them alot more comfortable. -Prodigy

I always tell girls/sets that “The lady at the cosmetics counter in Macy’s/Sephora/Nordstrom’s is trying to sell me what she thinks the best smelling cologne is. Which one do you think smells better?” Then I follow up with, “I always feel like they are just trying to pitch a sale, even if it smells good or not….” -drewder

And there you have it.  This routine comes out with the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval.  I had faith this one would make it.  I have even seen Style pull it off with out verbally starting it.  It was that easy.

With so many great submissions, and a lot of awesome pics, I’ve gotta say that you guys are the best.  When Stylelife Academy Students come together and everyone posts up their pics with either hot girls, being part of a social circle, funny, or just plain scary pix, it was hard to judge who the winner was.  To be honest, no one is a loser (really, read this whole message and you will understand why).  But the ones that really shined are known.  It came down to a few really tough calls.

I challenge all of you readers out there.  This week, you are going to get your ass in the field.  You are going to approach.  You are going to introduce yourself to every set you come across.  You are going to go up, say your name, and you are going to put your hand out there and shake hands.  You are THAT IMPORTANT and everyone needs to know who you are.  And, this is the easiest first step of kino EVER! ! !

When I first started out in the Stylelife Academy, I was talking about my Rockstar Handshake in a FLASH CHAT with Stylelife Coach, the SNEAK.  He had no idea what I was talking about, so I went out and did it to the first person I could get on camera. So I hit the field and filmed a short video of me teaching the handshake to a random girl. The video is in the PDF below for everyone to see.  It was my first week in the Academy.  Here I am now, writing these challenges to you now.  Something else I learned from the Sneak, is how to merge the sets while teaching everyone my Secret Handshake.  This week, we give you the:

I am very curious to see how everyone does with their new acquired SECRET HANDSHAKE.  Spread the word.  Unite hands.  And ROCK OUT.

Post your results by Monday, OCTOBER 12th.  For a BONUS CHALLENGE, I want to see some sort of pics or VIDEO of you performing your handshake to a completely random set.  I was given this challenge at the beginning of the year, let’s see what you guys can do.  I CHALLENGE YOU.

Ever been out and see a guy that just looks like a complete MUTANT?  No style, no taste, but even worse, HE IS WITH THE GIRL OF YOUR DREAMS?  How in the WORLD did a guy that looks like that pull it off?

As Kermit D. Frog once said, “It ain’t easy bein Green”.  And the word GREEN has been quite the fluent word lately.  There are quite a lot of “GREEN” AFCs in the works of the GAME.  There is even something called a “GREEN PUA”.  But this isn’t what we are talking about.

This week, a few of the guys that have helped out in the past put their heads together and worked as a team to take something that was once an OPENER, rip it apart, and build it into something better; a Personality Test.  As we all know, personality tests are like Chick Crack, but is this the kind of thing that can gain the respect of girls or guys?  Is it something that can rock social proof?  Well, that is what we are going to test.

Farmer actually came up with this as an opener while he was in New Orleans during Mardi Gras with the Sneak.  He ran it with much success. As soon as he posted it on the Stylelife Elite forum in a field report, many people started commenting on it.  Then a few threads popped up on various ways you can use it.  Even Techfall came up with a great way to use it as a cold read.  Ever since then, it has evolved into what we present for you RIGHT HERE at Pick Up Labs.

I now present to you, The Ninja Turtles Personality Test:

So, if these four guys in green can hook up with April O’Neil, then you can totally use it to pull a girl of your own, possibly gain the respect of guys in the set, and hopefully bring things to a close.  No lie, while Prodigy, Farmer and I were putting this together, I was testing the waters on a girl.  Come to find out, she is a HUGE COMIC fan.  I was impressed by her geek-streak.  Always a cool thing in my book.  What is in your book?  Bring your results back to Pick Up Labs on September 14th, where I crunch the numbers and post the results.  Let us know what you think.  After all, this is Pick Up Labs.

Welcome back to the LAB that pushes everyone to be what they really want to be; GREAT!  This past week, we received a routine put together by one of the Stylelife Academy Students and Public Forum Moderators; PRODIGY.  I have had the chance to talk with Prodigy a lot here recently and he is even helping with a few of the routines and future missions around the LAB.  This routine is proof of some of his work.  He brought it out of his personal stash to be tested here for all of our Pick Up Labbers.  One of the funniest ones was when I had him on the phone and a really cute girl was sitting next to me at an Internet Cafe.  We experimented with him starting it and me finishing it.  The great thing is, there were actually a bunch of other guys listening in on the call.  Did it still work out for me though?

YES IT DID! ! !

I would also like to thank a few of the new comers that posted up this week.  I always dig seeing new faces and testers and also catching feedback.  Even if it didn’t work out for you, make sure you post up your results.  This isn’t the place to be shy.

Now, to the Test Results:

1. Does it work successfully?

Most of the testers stated it worked quite well.  4/5 for Success.

2. How difficult is this routine to master?

Most of the testers stated it was pretty easy to master. 4/5 for Easy to Master.

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?

Not one tester got called out while using this routine. 5/5 for NOT getting called out.

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?

All the testers stated it had a pretty strong hook point.  4/5 for strong hook point.

5. Rapport building strength?

It fell on the AVERAGE SCALE for Rapport Strength.  3/5 for Rapport Strength.

6. Your PUA-AFC level?

Most of the testers fell in between AFC and PUA.  Only 1 tester stated being an AFC.

7. Number of times tested?

Routine was tested 41 times

8. Any additional insight?

“I sometimes used the listed responses even if the target didn’t give that exact answer back. They ended up creating humor.” -METZ

“The opener itself is fun to use, definitely recommend it for warming up, but not so much when you want to stay in set.” -SidV

“One set I opened said BOTH, but I just teased with, “Hey! Don’t be greedy now.” and stacked forward. Worked best on fun loving sets. When it hits the rapport is high when it wasn’t it still opened.” -YouWish98

“Something that always seems to get the set in deeper rapport was to say whatever their answer was “Oh see I heard that people that pick (their answers) are troublemakers/punks/losers.” if they ever critcized my choice I always said “yea I picked (my answer) its what all the cool kids pick” -Prodigy

“All three times ended with a number close. Thanks Prodigy.” theC

“I usually played out the PROs and CONs of each choice with the set. Except the girl that said she would BITE the Heads off of the bears.” -drewder

9. Suggested Additions of Modifications to routine (if any):

“This is the basic script I used: Actually, here, let me ask you something. My roommate and I had one of those man to man discussions last night…you know that all men sometimes have. We’ll see what your take is on it.” “I’m going to get back to , but this is a life or death argument we had last night. If you had to choose between the two, which would you take.” Pause…. “Gummy bears or gummy worms.”

I found the larger script, modified to fit me, worked a lot better. There was more of a root, the manly discussion came off with much more humor. When I used the shorter, given script above, the target just stared and said “I don’t know…”. The longer script kinda of built up this expectation of men talking about secrets….gummy secrets. In the tool belt this goes!

(I used this while wearing a parking enforcement uniform and pulled 2 numbers with this very opener.)”-METZ

“You can easily transition to the ring finger routine replacing rings with gummy savers. Have her open you. Make a candy straw for your drink by biting off the ends of a Twizzlers. Have extras to offer her. They really do “Make mouths happy”. . . -YouWish98

Well, after busting down the figures.  Dividing by 9, carrying a 4, and rounding up from a 7.  Oh, what am I talking about.  This routine proudly gets the PICK UP LABS STAMP OF APPROVAL.  It didn’t rank the highest on Rapport, but it still passed with flying colors in other areas.  I will probably even test this out as soon as I get out to LA for the 2009 Stylelife Fall Conference this WEEKEND! ! !  I am pretty stoked to see all the coaches and see Style again.  If ya see me there, come up and say hi.  You can even tell me about a routine you wouldn’t mind to see HERE on Pick Up Labs, whether it is your own or someone elses.

Welcome back to another great week in Game-land.  While other people are out snorting pixie sticks till their candy corns are destroyed from 5th Avenue, and they can’t use their Zagnuts till PAYDAY, we here at PICK UP LABS might be able to set you up with another fun Opener for the week so you can put that PETER PAUL to good use.

A few months ago, I met up with a GREAT social artist named PRODIGY (once known as Prodigy Alpha).  We both started out on the Stylelife Academy Elite Forum about the same time.  After the 2009 Stylelife Spring World Conference, we both became moderators for the Stylelife Academy Public Forums.  While we were in Los Angeles for the conference, he displayed this opener for everyone there.  A while ago, I was on the phone with him and we were discussing routines for Pick Up Labs.  I asked for one that he would recommend.  And just like so many students before, he came through with one of his personal openers that he has used and keeps in his personal toolbox.  And now he donates it to the world of Pick Up Labs for testing.  This could go the distance and become something great.  Or, well, lets think positive about all of this.
