Is attraction influenced by smell?

|

Welcome back to the results breakdown of the Cologne Opener.  The Stylelife Moderator, Prodigy, did an incredible breakdown of this classic routine.  As seen in the book The Game, we decided to pull this one out of the closet and test it out just in time for the Valentine’s Day holiday.  After all, no girl wants to be with a guy that smells like butt.

With just a few alterations, this routine has been tested by various Stylelife Academy students, Stylelife Coaches, and of course Style himself.  But, the question is, how did it fare with you?

Now, onto the results of the Cologne Opener:

1. Does it work successfully?

As per test results, all testers agree this routine opens successfully. 5/5 for Successful.
2. How difficult is this routine to master?

According to testers results, everyone agreed that the routine was very easy.  5/5 for being Easy.
3. Did you get called out on using this routine?

None of the testers were called out while using this routine.  5/5 for not getting called out.
4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?

All testers stated the hook point strength was pretty strong.  4/5 for Hook Point Strength.
5. Rapport building strength?

Testers stated this routine had an above average rapport building strength.  3/5 for Rapport Building Strength.
6. Your PUA-AFC level?

All testers were between AFC and PUA.
7. Number of times tested?

Tested 41 times.
8. Any additional insight?

As I wrote smelling your wrist first will make them alot more comfortable. -Prodigy

This one is Mall Game Money.-drewder
9. Suggested Additions of Modifications to routine (if any):

I always tell girls/sets that “The lady at the cosmetics counter in Macy’s/Sephora/Nordstrom’s is trying to sell me what she thinks the best smelling cologne is. Which one do you think smells better?” Then I follow up with, “I always feel like they are just trying to pitch a sale, even if it smells good or not….” -drewder

10. What scents/colognes did you use?

Play,Play Intense, Pi, Pi Neo – by Givenchy, Cool Water – by Davidoff, Orion, Vice, Apollo – by Axe, Snowdrop.  Most Votes: 1st – Play Intense.  2nd – Play.  3rd – Orion. -Prodigy

Armani Code and Jean Paul Gaultielle-Wiesel

Diesel- Only the Brave.  D&G-#1.  Armani – Code.  Only the Brave was the WINNER. -drewder

And there you have it.  This routine comes out with the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval.  I had faith this one would make it.  I have even seen Style pull it off with out verbally starting it.  It was that easy.

Next routine will be a very HANDY piece that will take a bit of time, but offers lots of kino and is one hell of a DHV.  Come back later this week and you will see what I am talking about.  Till then…..

While you were at home, FATE happened without you…

|

Welcome back to a breakdown of FATE.  When it happens, will you be ready?  Pick Up Labs is here to help you when it does.  This is the place where you test new openers, routines, stacks, dhv’s and closes.  Recently, we have been using a lot from Stylelife Academy students.  We have also been testing out the routines in Style’s newest release of Rules of the Game.  When it came time, I really wanted to test something from the Original Stylelife Student of the Year; Fate…. But he has so much good material, where do you really start?

I actually contacted Farmer to see which ones he thought were the best.  Instead, he sent me this whole routine.  We were quite stoked to put it up here and test it out.  This has been a favorite, but they have never been tested like this.  So, how do you think it went?

The Results of Fate’s Future Projection:

1. Does it work successfully?

This scored pretty high on the successful level. 4/5 for Successful.

2. How difficult is this routine to master?

All testers stated it was pretty easy. 4/5 for being Easy.

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?

None of the testers were called out.  5/5 for No Call Outs.

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?

All testers stated it has a pretty strong hook point. 4/5 for Strong Hook Point.

5. Rapport building strength?

All testers stated it is pretty strong with Rapport Building. 4/5 for Strong Rapport.

6. Your PUA-AFC level?

All testers were in between PUA and AFC.

7. Number of times tested?

34 times

8. Any additional insight?

“My favorite one was telling her I was going to take her on this magic carpet ride and busted out into song “A Whole New World.” She busted up laughing and asked if I was drunk. Oddly enough, she asked for my number and wanted to see me before I left town.” -drewder

“This is meant to be used later in the interaction. the more outlandish and fantastic you make it the more they are hooked. I used Fate Polly Pocket, Tyler Ds PVC Devil and Angel, The Candy Ninjas and my own all worked well.” -Prodigy

“Used the Polly Pocket, Ninja Candy, then one I made up on the spot” -Farmer

9. Suggested Additions of Modifications to routine (if any):

“I noticed that each projection can fit into the type of target. A little calibration is key to mastering this secudtion model.” -TheC

“OWN IT… Practice IT… Run with IT. That is the only thing I can recommend. Always good to know where to go to afterwords. When I was done with the MAGIC CARPET RIDE, later on, if she got out of hand, I told her I would kick her off the Magic Carpet if she kept it up.” – drewder

“Also, when I do this routine I stay near her. (not in her face), I talk about us (pointing to us) against them (pointing to the others around).

PS: I got laughs when I pointed to Mickey Mouse (imaginary small friend) and she started talking to him.” -angelsin

After a tight review, this gets the Pick Up Labs Stamp Of Approval.  Congrats to FATE on all his success.  Now it is time for your success.  To hit the field for the holidays and open, game, close and have that New Years Kiss lined up.  Or, go out and use your Favorite Pick Up Labs Routine and make things happen.

This next week is going to be the GIFT from the GAME and one of your favorite Stylelife Coaches.  Stay tuned for the greatness.  Till then:

Vampires aren’t the only ones out for blood…

|

So you have now been versed with the secret routine that was tossed around the Stylelife Elite forum and also made its way into the new version of Rules of the Game.  It is a really cool routine and we also got to test it in secret with Style’s Street Team over the summer.  And now, we take it public with all the viewers of Pick Up Labs.

With this big news of Vampire movies making record sales at the box office, I knew it would be a good time to pull this routine out and test it here, but what did everyone else think?  Should we leave this talk to the blood suckers, or is this going to be the new Astrology Reading?

Lets find out:

1. Does it work successfully?
All testers agreed it was pretty successful.  4/5

2. How difficult is this routine to master?
Most testers agreed it was pretty easy to master. 4/5

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?
No one was called out while using this routine. 5/5

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?
All testers agreed it has an above average hook point strength. 3/5

5. Rapport building strength?
All testers agreed it has an above average rapport building strength. 3/5

6. Your PUA-AFC level?
Only 1 tester said they were an AFC.  All others were in between PUAs and AFCs.

7. Number of times tested?
41 total.

8. Any additional insight?

“One girl stopped me halfway through to say, with wide eyes “I’ve actually heard of that before!!! I thought it was weird when I heard it too.” Another girl started telling me about the esoteric arts in other cultures as well and the convo just went from there. Only one set didnt stay to talk longer, because I opened them as they were walking towards the exit, and then while talking a couple of their friends came up and asked them what was taking so long to leave.

6 times tested, 4 phone numbers”- Farmer

“Alot of people dont seem to know there blood type, so take a guess based on their behavior. For some reason I could tell whenever someone was a B type, they have a certain look, cant really explain it.

I broke it down how Evolve breaks down astrology, “Oh your a __ type that means you ____(qualifier) which is cool but on the other hand you ____ (disqualifer) so we’d never get along.” – Prodigy

“Know how to start off the conversation and transition into this one. I had to use some pretty fun bits to get it going.” -drewder

9. Suggested Additions of Modifications to routine (if any):
“No modifications, but I usually started talking about, “Hey, have you seen the movie NEW MOON? I don’t understand that stuff, but do you think Vampires are attracted to different blood types?” Then I went right into it.

OR

“I know this is random, but do you like astrology? I’m sure you know your sign, right? Don’t worry, I’m not some weird guy hitting on you, but I find it funny how most people know their SIGN but don’t know their blood type…. You do know your blood type, don’t you?” – drewder

I always started off with, “So guess what I just found out, you know how people usually rely on Astrology to explain personalities, guess what the Japanese use?” it always grabbed their attention

I usually had the group guess mine, alot said O – the Hunter, Im actually an A. Showed my blood donor card which made for a good DHV and some stories.

Astrology is easy to transition here as is any cold read, what worked best was actually I would pick out one really good quality that they agreed with and say “so what makes you _____?” -Prodigy

“Usually transitioned into this by tying it to astrology (so you know how most people believe people can be matched up by their astrological signs? Well….) or by saying “You know how the Japanese always seem like they are into this weird stuff, like their game shows etc? Well a friend told me….”

Both ways seemed to work well as a reason to bring it up. Usually after talking about it would bring it back to astrology or tarot and go from there.” -Farmer

With that being said, this squeaks by with the Pick Up Labs STAMP OF APPROVAL.  Even if it was in the Rules of the Game, we had to test it here in the lab to make it official.  Speaking of official, the next routine coming up is from the ORIGINAL Stylelife Student of the Year: FATE.  He is going to help you predict the future and I’m predicting it is going to be really friggin good.

Until next time, fellas.

If you were betting drinks…

|

And you won, did she take advantage of you?  Or were you taking advantage of her?  Oh, the games to be played.  If you are geared up with all the Stylelife goodies, I am sure you didn’t fold your cards on this one.  But was it worth the hype that got it in the new version of the Rules of the Game?  Did we all win from this one?  Lets see how the stakes were on this routine.

First, though, I would like to point out HOW many times this routine has been used.  It has been in Style’s personal arsenal for a long time, it was in the Annihilation Method DVD set, it’s been on YOU TUBE, in both Stylelife Forums, and also tested over the Summer with the Style’s Street Team.  We break it out almost SIX months later and no one has been called out on it.  Not only that, but it looks like it has been quite productive in taking it to the next level.  So now, I give you the Pick Up Labs results from this classic routine.

1. Does it work successfully?
Out of all the testers, everyone has said that it works like a CHARM.  5/5 for success.

2. How difficult is this routine to master?
Everyone that has tested it said it was a really easy routine to master.  5/5 for easy.

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?
The routine has been around for a long time and I don’t know if anyone has ever been called out.  5/5 for not getting called out.

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?
The hook point proved pretty strong. 4/5 for strong hook point.

5. Rapport building strength?
Rapport was pretty good.  3.5/5 for Rapport Building Strength.

6. Your PUA-AFC level?
All testers were between AFC and PUA.

7. Number of times tested?
47 times

8. Any additional insight?
“Bet on drinks!!! She’ll pay for your drink and you can tell her to prepare a game for you next time you meet … and if you lose you’ll be the one paying.
PS: If she doesn’t bring a game, make her another game and make her pay again!” -AngelSin

“Remember it doesnt matter who wins or if they follow through its just about having fun!” -Prodigy

“Initially didnt think this was going to work that well. The first couple of times I used it was with girls I knew, and they both beat me. But still they had fun, so a success. Then later bet a girl a high five on this game while standing in line for the bathroom. When she lost and realized it there was a huge smile on her face.

This hooked her so well that walking past her table later she re-opened me, and insisted I play the game with one of her friends. This girl loved it even when she lost. Another girl came up and I was convinced to play it one more time, this time for a drink. I heard one of the guys in the corner at the table mutter “This game sucks”. Im guessing he thought it sucked because all of the girls were talking to me instead of him. Left with a phone number from a girl in that group and then a kiss from a girl I used this on later on.” -Farmer

“I run this the way I run any bar game.” -drewder

9. Suggested Additions of Modifications to routine (if any):
“Never bet for a phone number it should be given not earned in a bet, bet for drinks, hand massages, or to let them see a cool DHV” -Prodigy

“If called out as being a Con Artist or a Scam just go into The Cube but don’t put them into the Pen15 club.” – theC

“Since I was testing this, instead of just using it when girls suggested I buy them a drink, it came off like I was being sneaky if I just brought up betting for a drink. So I found that the random bet for a high five was fun enough and low value enough that people were more open to having fun with it than worried about having to pay for a drink.” -Farmer

10. What did I win?
“2 drinks, A “Pivot.” And $4.” – The C

“I have always ALWAYS played for a drink. I then teach them how to do it so they can win drinks for themselves.” -drewder

Do I even really need to say?  This routine gets the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval by a mile.  There is rarely an issue when it comes to a fun bar bet.  Even teaching them is a routine in itself.  It adds more value.

Come back later in the week and see what SUPER SECRET ROUTINE he has been working on.  It is something the SNEAK and Style talked about keeping secret, but I am going to post it here just for you Pick Up Labs followers.  But, shhhhhhh.  Keep it a secret.  Ha Ha.

Till next time.

10. What is your Handshake Routine!

“I have used Sneak’s handshake, but not a huge fan as everyone knows it. I only use it when I notice the girl too shy to do it.” -20SPOT

“I used all of them, Bravo’s worked better with guys and I over played the macho-ness of it (called out a guy after I caught him using a straw, then I said Ill show you how a MAN shakes)
The Sneak’s worked great and was easy to make everyone smile with the pshh
I always use drewder’s when teaching a handshake and its always fun!” -
Prodigy

The more she drinks, the better you. . .

|

. . . can tell what Drink Clutch Personality she has.  And we all know and learned that the flirt was our best friend when it came to this routine.  But COME ON, tell me something we didn’t already know.  The flirt has ALWAYS been my favorite.  How about yours?

So, welcome back to the lab that doesn’t require testing goggles, beakers and lab jackets.  You guys probably get laid more than those guys, anyway.  What it does require is dragging your ass out into the field and testing the weekly/bi-weekly routine and seeing how your interactions go.  And the routine we shot for was something that took more than shots to do.  Zebulon crafted this routine from a study he read.  He decided to bring it to the lab and make a few hardcore alterations and set it up for cold reading in the field.  Now, did it actually work out for everyone?  Did you guys rock your sets?  Did anyone get called out?

Let’s find out.  Onto Zebulon’s Drink Clutch Routine Results:

1. Does it work successfully?
Most of the testers confirmed that it worked pretty well. 4/5 for Successful.

2. How difficult is this routine to master?
Most of the testers admitted it was long, but still pretty easy. 4/5 for Easy to Master

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?
Only 1 call out and it looks like it wasn’t an actual CALL-OUT.  Even at that it still comes up to a 4/5.

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?
This came across the board with pretty solid hooking strength.  4/5 for Strong Hook Point.

5. Rapport building strength?
Rapport Strength wasn’t too bad.  4/5 for Rapport Strength.

6. Your PUA-AFC level?
All testers fell in between an AFC and a PUA.

7. Number of times tested?
44 times.

8. Any additional insight?
“Really long, but again, it isn’t meant to be finished, but to hook the target/set. It did it’s job perfectly each time I ran it. Probably the most effective one I’ve ran in a long time.

I also wanted to point out, it hooked an SNL with a complete stranger at a party. This carried over into the next day. This same girl had me all weekend long (Friday-Sunday). I have never done that with anything I have ran off of Pick Up Labs.”- drewder

There you have it.  Quite a successful cold read put together by a Stylelife student Zebulon.  It gets the Pick Up Labs Stamp Of Approval and will go down in my personal hall of fame routines.

I would also like for everyone to keep your eyes on the PRIZE here at Pick Up Labs.  There are going to be some pretty cool anouncements coming down the pipeline soon.  Check back with us Thursday for the next routine that will have your hippos twisting all fours.  Till next time:

And how well did your gummy-attraction go?

|

Hopefully the sweetness wasn’t bad enough to spread cavities.  And I hope you guys got to spread other cavities all together.

Welcome back to the LAB that pushes everyone to be what they really want to be; GREAT!  This past week, we received a routine put together by one of the Stylelife Academy Students and Public Forum Moderators; PRODIGY.  I have had the chance to talk with Prodigy a lot here recently and he is even helping with a few of the routines and future missions around the LAB.  This routine is proof of some of his work.  He brought it out of his personal stash to be tested here for all of our Pick Up Labbers.  One of the funniest ones was when I had him on the phone and a really cute girl was sitting next to me at an Internet Cafe.  We experimented with him starting it and me finishing it.  The great thing is, there were actually a bunch of other guys listening in on the call.  Did it still work out for me though?

YES IT DID! ! !

I would also like to thank a few of the new comers that posted up this week.  I always dig seeing new faces and testers and also catching feedback.  Even if it didn’t work out for you, make sure you post up your results.  This isn’t the place to be shy.

Now, to the Test Results:

1. Does it work successfully?

Most of the testers stated it worked quite well.  4/5 for Success.

2. How difficult is this routine to master?

Most of the testers stated it was pretty easy to master. 4/5 for Easy to Master.

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?

Not one tester got called out while using this routine. 5/5 for NOT getting called out.

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?

All the testers stated it had a pretty strong hook point.  4/5 for strong hook point.

5. Rapport building strength?

It fell on the AVERAGE SCALE for Rapport Strength.  3/5 for Rapport Strength.

6. Your PUA-AFC level?

Most of the testers fell in between AFC and PUA.  Only 1 tester stated being an AFC.

7. Number of times tested?

Routine was tested 41 times

8. Any additional insight?

“I sometimes used the listed responses even if the target didn’t give that exact answer back. They ended up creating humor.” -METZ

“The opener itself is fun to use, definitely recommend it for warming up, but not so much when you want to stay in set.” -SidV

“One set I opened said BOTH, but I just teased with, “Hey! Don’t be greedy now.” and stacked forward. Worked best on fun loving sets. When it hits the rapport is high when it wasn’t it still opened.” -YouWish98

“Something that always seems to get the set in deeper rapport was to say whatever their answer was “Oh see I heard that people that pick (their answers) are troublemakers/punks/losers.” if they ever critcized my choice I always said “yea I picked (my answer) its what all the cool kids pick” -Prodigy

“All three times ended with a number close. Thanks Prodigy.” theC

“I usually played out the PROs and CONs of each choice with the set. Except the girl that said she would BITE the Heads off of the bears.” -drewder

9. Suggested Additions of Modifications to routine (if any):

“This is the basic script I used: Actually, here, let me ask you something. My roommate and I had one of those man to man discussions last night…you know that all men sometimes have. We’ll see what your take is on it.” “I’m going to get back to , but this is a life or death argument we had last night. If you had to choose between the two, which would you take.” Pause…. “Gummy bears or gummy worms.”

I found the larger script, modified to fit me, worked a lot better. There was more of a root, the manly discussion came off with much more humor. When I used the shorter, given script above, the target just stared and said “I don’t know…”. The longer script kinda of built up this expectation of men talking about secrets….gummy secrets. In the tool belt this goes!

(I used this while wearing a parking enforcement uniform and pulled 2 numbers with this very opener.)”-METZ

“You can easily transition to the ring finger routine replacing rings with gummy savers. Have her open you. Make a candy straw for your drink by biting off the ends of a Twizzlers. Have extras to offer her. They really do “Make mouths happy”. . . -YouWish98

“I gave this opener in its purest form for pickup labs, I’ve modified it a thousand different ways and it seems like the testers did as well, very proud of those who reported and made it their own.” -Prodigy

“Always read the girl from the reaction of the delivery of the opener. Once you drop it, hold eye contact and SMILE. . . A great smile shows you are having fun and that is what this is suppose to be: FUN”- drewder

Well, after busting down the figures.  Dividing by 9, carrying a 4, and rounding up from a 7.  Oh, what am I talking about.  This routine proudly gets the PICK UP LABS STAMP OF APPROVAL.  It didn’t rank the highest on Rapport, but it still passed with flying colors in other areas.  I will probably even test this out as soon as I get out to LA for the 2009 Stylelife Fall Conference this WEEKEND! ! !  I am pretty stoked to see all the coaches and see Style again.  If ya see me there, come up and say hi.  You can even tell me about a routine you wouldn’t mind to see HERE on Pick Up Labs, whether it is your own or someone elses.

Come back Thursday, where Farmer shows us how the guys in Green could help you Score a mean HOTTIE.

If THING from the Adams Family were to wear rings. . .

|

. . .I think he would have been a Dionysus.  Although, this would still trip him up.  By the way, is it just me or has anyone else ever wondered how the hell he heard all of those commands throughout the years?

Alright, enough already.  We are back to normal Pick Up Labs fashion and DAMN am I ever proud to see all you guys back on here.  I had to bring out a massive treat for ya and I have been holding off on posting it until now.  And after seeing results on this, I can’t be any happier.

The routine has been around the block, but with a few Stylelife adjustments, you can now use it for the greater good of your sets.  If you can run it, escalate and then transition to her talking about herself, you should be able to close (i.e. Number close, kiss close, or EVEN BETTER.)

Now, lets check out the results for the beloved RING FINGER ROUTINE:

1. Does it work successfully?

It was unanimous.  All the testers said it was successful.  5/5

2. How difficult is this routine to master?

Most of the testers said it was pretty easy to master.  4/5 for Easy to Master

3. Did you get called out using this routine?

Not one single tester was called out for using this routine.  5/5 for NOT getting Called Out.

4. Hook point strength?
The results show that the hook point strength was fairly strong.  4/5 for Strong Hook Point.

5. Rapport building strength?

The results show that it also has a fairly strong Rapport Building Strength.  3.5/5 for Strong Rapport.

6. Your PUA-AFC level

All testers fell into the “IN BETWEEN” category (No PUAs and no one said they were an AFC).

7. Number of times tested?
65 times

8. Any additional insight?
“I would usually say its amazing what you wear says about you like your … and then transfer to something else she is wearing OR body language.” -Prodigy

“Earlier this month on vacation I used it on our waitress a HB 8.5 wearing an engagement ring, I’ve never seen a ring fly off a finger so fast and put on the other hand. She quickly explained it was a fake ring “If this was real I wouldn’t be waiting tables” My friends were amazed at how in a crowed bar I was able to isolate build a connection and determine she was available and interested. # closed and set up day 2 for after she got off work the next day.”-Dchipy

“It’s not necessary to get ALL the way through this routine… it can get long, especially for an opener. It is very good though, especially if you get a girl that’s into esoteric stuff.” -CloverThief

“I always hold her hand gently when I do it. I move it around and I sometimes touch each finger in the process. calibration is a must with this one.”- bondurant

“At least for me, this is done better to DHV later in the set, rather than an opener. Maybe I’m too pedestrian but when this hooks, it is a way to short-circuit / short-cut to get to rapport.” -LedZep (Menace)

“Useful as an opener, rapport builder, or in seduction.” -Forte

“Never used as an opener. Though it has always helped the transition from Approach into Attraction/DHV phase. Had one girl resist the routine since she put me into the “And, do you REALLY believe this shit?” shit test. Another girl used the “I’m totally not like that, this is bullshit” resistance. Though the rest of the girls I tested, successfully transitioned into the Cube routine, which landed #, K, and in some cases, F-Closes. The rings routine is my favorite one along with the Cube. They are always used in my stack.” -Tobasco1mpact

“This is still one of my favorite openers and ways to build rapport. I have even used it on girls wearing wedding rings, but found out later they weren’t really married.” -drewder

9. Suggested additions or modifications (if any):

“Engineers wear steel pinky rings, if I see a pinky ring I suggest she is nerdy math type with awkward social skills and disqualify her. From here you can run games that use numbers i.e. “pick a number (7)” or get her to jump a hoop to show she is not socially retarded by teaching her a secret hand shake that you will test her on later.” -Dchipy

“As an opener, maybe tell her about the meaning of the ring(s) that she’s actually wearing. Seed the extra info for later, maybe even have her help you cold read other girls in the bar.” -CloverThief

“It works a little better on a day 2 although it opens pretty well too. Don’t be afraid to change it up a little bit, skip a finger or ‘forget’ a finger and seed it, then she’ll ask about that finger. or if you’re wearing a ring, purposely skip that finger in the routine and when she asks what it represents, tell her to guess.” -bondurant

“Working on your cold reading skills and reading body language can really help you create a strong impression. It is also very easy to transfer in too another routine.” -vedom

“It’s often a good idea to use your own rings as an example (if you wear any).” -Forte

“Imperative use of disqualifiers and negs during this routine. Think of it as a playful way of getting to know the girl.” -Tobasco1mpact

“If a girl isn’t wearing rings, I sometimes take off the 3 I wear and tell her to put them on any of her 5 fingers, then I go into it.” -drewder

Hands down (no pun intended), this routine gets the Famous PICK UP LABS STAMP OF APPROVAL.  The Sneak is an incredible guy and I can’t wait to see him at the 2009 Fall Conference.  Seats are being booked left and right.  This conference is going to sell out fast.  This is also your chance to meet all the Stylelife Coaches and STYLE as well.  I went to the Spring Conference and it has kicked my game up to a level I never thought I would get to.

Come back later this week and find out what it means to FALL INTO A BURNING RING OF FIRE.  Also a new routine will be posted.

The Devil Inside, the Devil Inside. Every single one of us…

|

Had to bring a little old school INXS for this Pick Up Labs mission.  The song is based on old school seduction that still lives on today.  And speaking about old school seduction. . . We bring you Ross Jeffries; the Godfather and MASTER of Speed Seduction.

Known as the man that pretty well brought us the Seduction Community, Ross published books, ran seminars, videos and Cd’s on this stuff since the early 90’s.  Anchored mostly in NLP and Speed Seduction, his techniques have helped thousands of men.  One of which known to most of us, is STYLE of Stylelife Academy.  Ross was also a pivotal part in Style’s book THE GAME, in which he introduces Style to NLP.  Now, we at Pick Up Labs were lucky enough to use one of RJ’s Routines and pay the respect to the man that brought us our famed community.  Lets see what the crew thought of Manny and his favorite flavor of bowling balls:

1.  Does it work successfully?

Most of the testers said that it worked pretty easily.  4/5 for Success.

2.  How difficult is this routine to master?

Most of the testers stated that it was pretty easy to master.  4.5/5 for Easy to Master.

3.  Did you get called out on using this routine?

None of the testers were called out.  5/5 for not getting Called Out.

4.  What is the hook point strength of this routine?

Most testers stated it had a pretty strong hook point.  4.5/5

5.  Rapport building strength?

This actually didn’t favor too well in the rapport strength.  It was a mid-point.  2.5 for Rapport Strength.

6.  Your PUA-AFC level?

Three testers were in between, while one tester said he was quite the AFC.  Good job on still testing.

7.  Number of times tested?

21 times between all the testers.

8.  Any additional insight?  (Were you able to run it 10 times in a day?)

This is great for the guys who are still having AA issues.

Nope, I easily will though when my AA gets checked to a reasonable level.

Didn’t do good at all in mixed sets.  Only hooked in single interactions.  I used it at the mall and ran Bravo’s Number Close and pulled a girl’s number a few minutes after.

There you have it.  Still pulls off the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval and quite the fun routine to run.  Many thanks to Ross Jeffries for letting us borrow Manny and testing his favorite flavor of bowling balls.  The particular thing is getting the rhythm down and knowing when to pause.  I have been waiting to gloss these pages of Pick Up Labs with some RJ material and I am happy I got the chance to.  To all the testers, thank you again for taking this to the streets, clubs, malls and everywhere else that you felt would rock a great response.  Come back at the end of the week as we get to prepare ourselves for the 2009 World Conference.  For those that didn’t get the chance to get your tickets, make sure you check out the September Conference.

Til next time,

Keep Framing and Gaming.

Plenty of fish in the sea, but only 1 SHARK!

|

I am a huge fan of easy openers and routines that you can use anywhere and on the fly.  I also dig the ones that I can sink my teeth into and pull information out of a set that can further my approach and game with my target.  The last opener did just that, thanks to Farmer.

I spoke to SHARK before he took his vacation from Stylelife, he wanted to give back to the crew that helped him so much.

It was his turn to leave us better than he found us. . .

Let’s see how the breakdown went:

1. Does it work successfully?
All the testers agreed that it works successfully. 5/5

2. How difficult is this routine to master?
All the testers said that it was pretty easy to master. 5/5

3. Did you get called out on using this routine?
Not one single call out.

4. What is the hook point strength of this routine?
Almost all the testers agreed it was strong. 5/5

5. Rapport building strength?
Almost every tester said it had Strong Rapport Building Strength. 5/5

6. Your PUA-AFC level?
All testers fell in a wide range between AFC and PUA.

7. Number of times tested?
64 times between 14 testers.

8. Any additional insight?

Great for cold reading and setting up the whole group on “If you were a dwarf, which one would you be? Ok, if you were a dwarf and I was snow white, would you save me from the witch? Do you like apples?” It was endless fun.

I liked throwing in, “You’re not gonna start talking about how you wanted to be a princess all the time are you?”

Calling the target Grumpy always made her qualify herself but if she had an attitude I would say, “That’s what I first thought, in fact I bet some people think your a bitch, but your not you just act like that to get rid of the people who aren’t strong enough to talk to you, in fact I bet sometimes your shy so I’d say you’re more like bashful”

Girls usually switched it up on me and said “So which one are you?” Id always say “The Prince… or Doc I kinda like being the leader”

I didn’t say my nieces, I said my students instead which got them asking what I did when I replied martial arts instructor it always hooked and gave me something to transition to.

Talking about my senior trip to Disney World became great for a stack.

One time a guy walked into the set and started flirting with the girls, badly, my target just turned away from him towards me and I said, “Which dwarf do you think he is?” she replied “Sleazy”

Negging the target by calling her Grumpy definitely gets her to qualify and also seems spontaneous.

Also tried transitioning to qualification (what do you want to do when you grow up, and don’t say princess) and got really good responses.

Great gambit! Think I prefer this over the 5 oceans now

I’ve been called “cute” and “sweet” quite a few times using this routine… it’s Awesome!!

Last night I managed to set up a day 2 at Disneyland!!

This is my new favorite opener.

With the MASSIVE amount of feedback, this is the 2nd most tested bit on Pick Up Labs.  The biggest was Farmer’s from the previous testing.  Shark’s missed a tie by 1 person.  All together with 14 testers, this gets THE PICK UP LABS STAMP OF APPROVAL.  Thank you SHARK for putting this together.  It looks like there are quite a few fans of this routine and am sure it will be getting more and more use.

Also, a HUGE Thank You to all the testers out there that threw down the fire and posted up the numbers.  Stay tuned for the next routine, it is one I have been waiting to see for a LONG TIME.  Bring your eyes back here to test RJ’s Pick Up Labs routine.
