Out with the SLA crew last night celebrating the completion of Neil’s new book and testing of the Lint Opener came up. Neil shared some private details that may help this opener, maybe he will share below.

Before I get to the results here is Part 2 of the interview with Brian and Greg with perhaps one of the funniest FRs I have ever heard!

So for everyone asking how the guys from the show are doing now that it is over, it sounds like they are doing pretty fucking well!

Now back to the Lint Opener. Testing of this opener/routine was BRUTAL! With feedback such as

“2. Does the single grab open successfully?

If by “open”, you mean “get a look of disgust immediately before the target walks away”, then yes. Otherwise, no.” which not only still makes me laugh out loud as I type this, but also proves a great point. Even if you go out and have a “bad” night, the absolute worst thing you get is a great story. Thanks VikingWarlord

So this unfortunately does not get the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval. While it did open for a few people, the majority were treated like dirty homeless people. It did help prove a few important points though, first that even though this was in a MAJOR TV show that is seen all over the world, NOBODY was busted on this. Even if I do get called out whenever I am in field I just admit it, “ya you got me, I was hitting on you, is..there.. a problem with that?”

Second, just because this was written about in The Game, it doesn’t get any special treatment here in Pick Up Labs.

Third, going out with a plan and a mission gives you a goal to work towards. If we don’t have a goal or destination we are wandering around aimlessly.
So to thank everyone for making Pick Up Labs so fucking cool, I will be doing something special for you guys on Christmas. Then the following week we are going to test an opener I have been waiting to sink my teeth into, just in time for New Years, so make sure to check back soon!

One of the best tools an aspiring PUA can have in his arsenal is a great wingman.

Just like a work out partner at the gym, a wingman can spot you when you need a hand.  From running interference in the set making sure the friends are taken care of, to pointing out ways you can improve your own game that you can only see from an outsiders perspective, a good wing is invaluable.

At this weeks OFFICIAL viewing party of VH1’s The Pick Up Artist, Evolve asked Matt and Greg to share some of the tips they learned on how to be a good wingman.  Greg also tells us one of the best reasons to have a winggirl!

Last night was a sad night.

We were forced to say good bye to Brian, the current leader in our winner’s poll.

Before he left we got to see some of his sweet dance moves, which may make an appearance in the next video giving some more pointers…

We also got to see him along with the other contestants deliver some DHV stories at a man auction.

Luckily, Matt got the highest bid and won the challenge and had Tara help him overcome his AA in field that night.  He told a cool story about a trip overseas.  Greg went over his transformation from a boy into manhood, and Brain made us laugh.  All important aspects in delivering a good DHV story.  This week’s mission is to develop a DHV story yourself.

This mission will teach you how to develop your own DHV story to have ready when needed.  Not only will it help show you that chances are you lead a more interesting life than you think you do.  It will also help you convey all the awesome traits that new people you meet would not know, in a non-chalant manner.

Once you have your DHV story constructed, post it here in the comments to get assistance in making it as effective as possible.

Episode four of VH1’s The Pick Up Artist brought the heat!

 
The lessons on this episode were on the finer points of Kino Escaltion, which is a little more difficult to practice with a wingman.  Luckily they brought in a “PRO,” a Sexologist. As an Arizona native I always thought they were called “ladies of the night” that you picked up on Van Buren, but I must be mistaken.

I spoke to Greg and Brian about this at the viewing party last night and asked if there were any “too hot for TV clips,” they shared a few hilarious stories, and Brian even demonstrated his moves on me which will be up later in the week here….

Getting that first kiss can be a huge sticking point for most.  Luckily there are kiss close routines to help you out.  One of the most tried and true, as well as getting the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval is the Evolution Phase Shift kiss close written by Style.

This routine is so money that even though I have my own techniques on kissing, I was recently having a conversation with some Stylelife students.  We were discussing the fact that with everything now mainstream if the “canned” material was still applicable.  We just so happen to be discussing this in a strip club as a lovely dancer was sitting in my lap.  She heard what we were talking about and said, “that stuff would NEVER work on me!  I get tons of guys each night trying to kiss me, and I NEVER have!”

I decided this was a perfect time to show how a Certified Routine like this never goes out of style.

I told her I would demo a way I teach guys how to kiss woman and right when I was getting ready to start, I paused and said, “wait, before I begin, what perfume is that?”  Then ran the exact same routine, word for word, that is in this weeks mission.

At the end of it, we were both facing each other, moving closer in, and just as our lips touched I pulled back and said, “ya, I would do something like that!”

She froze for 5 seconds, realized what just happend, and freaked out.  She instantly was a believer, as were all the guys who saw it happen.

I always say a the only way to see if something works is to test it for yourself!

The last viewing party at Neil Strauss‘ home was cooler than we could have imagined.

Besides the fact that Mystery, Matador, Neil Strauss, Tara, Sin, Greg, Brian, Kevin, Evolve, The Sneak, and myself were all there with tons of other community people and fans,  we were also able to shoot some awesome interviews.

I was asked, after the last clip, if we could produce another video with more “behind the scenes” footage and longer versions of the interviews, well good news they are here!
