. . . ability to open and run a routine like this? I personally ran with it, but how far did the rest of you get? When Bravo asked me which routine I wanted to post up, this was the one that stood out for me.
Farmer came up from the depths of the Stylelife Elite crew. He was also featured in the newest promo vid for the 2009 Stylelife World Conference. You can normally find him in the flash chats or cruising the forums helping others out and even posting great field reports, which I personally have benefited from. He stepped up to provide everyone with something that was hand forged from his own works. Although, it may have been the BIGGEST one yet as per the amount of testers, does it really get a clean bill of health?
And the Results are. . . .

Only issue I had, and I ran into this quite a bit, was a lot of girls said they didn’t like “BABY GIRL NAMES”. . . But still went for it and I led each set and the target down a path of cold reading. Usually ran the ring routine after or strawberry fields. Pulled the 5 oceans full stack once.
When I mentioned that I could be the godfather I said “and since I’m Italian I would love that position” always got a good laugh.
The part where you say it’s there dogs name was fantastic, everytime I used it on my target she tried to requalify herself and the set always had a good laugh.
When asked how I knew the couple I mentioned that we met at martial arts tournament, snowboarding, at a crazy party, or some type of DHV story that was true but I just switched them in for someone else.
Question I got asked 4 out of my 5 sets was – “Are they big into ethnic names?” When I said no it seemed to work better.
Good opener which. def captures attention w-the females in the group but I noticed one group that I opened it up on (a mixed group), it was not as strong compared to a group of all females….most likely linked to the fact that a majority of guys are not as interested in baby names then girls are.
Teasing a group member about the couples dog having the same name always got a laugh.
I found you need to hook the guys quickly. So if you say something like ‘oh man you better watch out. She has baby names picked out. You better run’. Or say to the guy ‘isn’t it funny. Girls can give you a list of names, but guys haven’t given it a second thought’.
Some girls will take the thread and run with it. It can go on. You need a plan to get off the opener.
Nice one brother… really easy to transition to DHV or start teasing because of weird names (honestly, “Charleston”!?).
It opened so easily, I was completely under the radar. Just seeing this in action was pretty slick. It was more on that emotional (goochy goochy gooo) level that really sparked their interests.
Since it was SUCH a spark for both sets, I had to get OUT of the baby talk quickly and switch subjects before I started to lose interest. The first set was stuck in the baby name conversation. The second set was easier, since they overheard the first set.
This opener is fantastic for beginners! From my experience, it was 100% successfull. I could see if you learn more about baby names and their origins…. transitioning to a deeper emotional level could be accomplished with litte effort and awesome DHVs.
All 3 times I tested this with mixed sets. Guys don’t really care about baby names as much. It definitely wasn’t as effective when I used it on a set comprised of mostly guys.
The negs work great in this one. I suggest switching away as quickly as possible but this may be kinda hard since you’re asking for something fairly specific. If you do change threads, you can always come back to this however.
Everything Farmer said was on point. I really enjoyed this one. Good work brother
Hahaha the first girl I tested it on was a teenage mother with her son in a stroller sitting next to me on the bus. This opener is perfect for picking up MILFs hahaha.
Second set was that same day (Friday), a 2 set, went well – kiss close and felt eachother up. PS opened with the JINX Opener, that opener is crack for me and its NEVER failed
Third set was Saturday, used it in conversation in a club. Due to external circumstances it wouldn’t have been appropriate for us to do anything in the club even though she was wrapping herself around me like a snake. She has a BF too. We exchanged contact info, just added her on Facebook, seeded a day two at my house party.
Some women don’t answer initially, ask them their opinion or suggestions. Sometimes I noticed they don’t respond usually because they are still thinking of a good name.
Getting emotionally excited if when you mention that you want to be the Godfather. Women see your enthusiasm and excite and they emotionally can relate, and that is attractive.
I had a few sets who left and re-mentioned to me their suggestions for a name and wished me luck. It illustrates that it was still on their mind.
Some women offer their name and say it is their name immediately. Use that opportunity to introduce yourself to the group and you are in rapport quickly. You can also neg on their name saying it is a nice name but don’t think it will work on their baby and the family personality.
Good stuff…I actually showed guys that I met how easy it was to talk to girls with this opener. I told them it’s just basically role-playing as a way to talk to girls without them thinking you’re hitting on them.
So there you have it. A MASSIVE RESPONSE with a lot of guys testing. This gets a HUGE Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval. Hats off to the FARMER for coming up with a very creative and intriguing routine that is jam packed with versatility and simple to master. You can drop this one ANYWHERE.
Huge thanks to the testers for making this an incredible success. The response was excellent. Now, take this one to the field, run with it, and for the sake of all things great. . . SCORE. . .
Check back later on for more kick ass material from the Pick Up Labs crew.
