. . . Every single person that got out into the field, opened sets, and did this exercise. There was 1 Stylelife member email me and tell me that he only opened five sets, but was able to pull a girl back home with him that night. Why? Because he was part of a fun exercise and he wasn’t really running game. And what does Style say is the best way to run game? By having something to do other than gaming.
This was also an exercise in getting out of your comfort zone and getting away from Approach Anxiety. This gave you 50 different ways to open sets in just over 2 weeks. To some, it was something fun and something challenging to rack up the points and win the Grand Prize. To others, it was a nightmare but also a crutch to get away from their computers and actually hit the field, where the real game is played.
Now, I can’t lie. . . Pick Up Labs has been rocking it strong for over a year now and something like this had to be done for the release of the NEW RULES OF THE GAME. If you remember, a few months ago we had the privilege to run a few of the routines for the book. This new version is jam packed with new routines, kiss closes, and even a way to pull THREE SOMES. One devoted person played hard and posted an exceptional set of videos. He hit the field and recorded everything he could. This individual followed the rules and opened, followed through with the tasks, and supplied a lot of infield footage. This one individual is walking away with a personalized signed copy from Style’s desk. To this, I give you the winner:
The winner of the 2009 Pick Up Labs Scavenger Hunt goes to METZ. Congrats brother. For the rest of you, I highly recommend going back and reviewing his videos that he posted in the original thread. I have seen his posts on the Stylelife Forums and I can say that he has his a pretty good game plan set. How about you? Where is your game plan?
Speaking of game plans, come back later this week and we will actually be testing a routine from the new release of Rules of the Game. I promise, it is a goodie.
Till then,
KEEP FRAMING AND GAMING
P.S. To all the others that got out there and did the Scavenger Hunt and posted pix and video, you guys also rock. I just wanted to say that it is insanely hard to score infield video as it is. You guys pulled of what a lot of people can’t. You guys FUCKING ROCK. . .
